Christmas Eve
Monday 24th December 2007
Make this Christmas a time to remember . on Christmas Eve you are invited for welcome cocktails and canapés by the Graves family and senior members of staff before adjourning to the Lake View Restaurant where Master Chef Kevin Dowling and his brigade await you with a little magic in the air! Gastronomic delights will be enhanced by the relaxing strains or our pianist who will lead us into a short repertoire of favourite Christmas carols and join us for a glass of mulled wine. You may then wish to visit the little country church for Midnight Mass.
Don't forget to listen out for Santa Claus who will be visiting before morning . except for the children . Santa makes a special visit on Christmas day.

Christmas Day
Tuesday 25th December 2007
As befits the occasion breakfast on Christmas Day is a leisurely affair with a glass of Bucks Fizz. If you wish, you may wander in the surrounding grounds enjoying the beauty of the countryside and the invigorating freshness of the air or maybe opening your gifts!
Appetites stimulated, it is time for the Festive Feast for all the family od six traditional courses followed by coffee and mince pies in the Lake Room and Hall . watch out for Santa Claus kids! . he makes a final visit before his return to Lapland.
No Christmas would be complete without the Queen's Speech and after this we would ask you to wrap up warmly for a candlelight walk around the grounds of the hotel, weather permitting. On your return to the warm atmosphere of the Hall the children are whisked off to the spa for an hour of non-stop games.
In the evening for those still with an appetite an informal cold buffet is served. In mellow mood we now take you back in time to the Medieval age for an evening of misrule and mayhem with fire eating, riddles, music and dancing.
