If you have been using your camera on auto or trying various settings with mixed results, this workshop will give you a solid foundation in photography.

Carmen Norman is an award-winning fine art photographer who lives and works in the Lake District. Her work covers both landscape and family lifestyle images, and she enjoys walking the fells and capturing the fantastic scenery the area has to offer.

What you need to know:

• This workshop is suitable for complete beginners.
• It will be a small friendly group.
• We will provide morning coffee, lunch and refreshments.
• Requires DSLR camera, tripod, walking shoes and waterproof/warm clothing.

What to expect:

• The workshop will start with a camera clinic, ensure the right setting for the best images.
• Learn the various settings of the camera, looking at uses and functions.
• Time to get practical with a walk around the grounds of the Armathwaite Hall estate to take pictures.
• Finally, you will review and perfect your images.
