Kitchen Porter

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking employees who take pride in their work and enjoy working within a dedicated and friendly team. A clean, smart appearance and ability to understand written and verbal instruction is required. Flexibility when asked to provide holiday and sickness cover is essential. Previous kitchen experience is desirable although training will be provided.

The Kitchen Porter is essential in ensuring the successful running of the kitchen, working closely with the Chef enabling the smooth running of its day-to-day operation Down in our Brassiere.

Main tasks will include the preparation and cleaning of kitchen surfaces and equipment; preparation of food (vegetables and salads) as directed by Chef; helping with the movement of goods into the kitchen stores; monitoring the amount of food in the servery ensuring there is adequate food provision during service.

This role may include include split shifts and if you do not require live in, the recommendation is that you would have access to a car/ reliable transport.

We have live in accommodation available for £180 per month (single room). Food included!

Under 18s pay rate is £10 per hour

Over 18s pay rate is £11 per hour

This position is a permanent, full time position. 40 Hour contract. Variable shifts, including weekends.
