Job Title: Wedding and Events Co-ordinator
Reporting to: General Manager
Department: Administration
Scope and General Purpose:
To provide a high level of guest care, flawless attention to detail and to deliver high standards of service that will be memorable long after the guest has departed.
Main Duties:
To Co-ordinate Events and Weddings to include all conferences, social functions and corporate events
To keep Events Diary up to date along with Wedding booking reports
To organise a Wedding Show twice a year and attend relevant trade shows
To liaise with clients directly to ensure that all details are communicated accurately and in line with company guidelines
To liaise with all operational departments to ensure clients requests are communicated effectively and accurately
To nurture and develop relationships with existing clients and proactively promote the business by undertaking and instigating promotional initiatives
To carry out showrounds and convert enquiries to actual sales
To ensure all guest correspondence is sent out in a timely manner and accurate. Adhering strictly to the policies and guidelines
To ensure that revenue from event space is fully maximised and correctly billed
To assist with the operation and to actively undertake duties on event days
Key Responsibilities:
To provide all customers with a professional, efficient helpful and friendly service at all times.
To anticipate customer needs to ensure enhanced quality service and in turn customer satisfaction.
To treat all internal and external customers in a polite and courteous manner at all times. To give full co-operation to any customer requiring assistance in a prompt, caring and helpful manner.
To be flexible in assisting around different areas of the Hotel in response to business and customer needs.
To comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety, hygiene, licensing and employment.
To adhere to Company and Hotel rules at all times.
To maintain the confidentiality of our guests and their activities.
