not be more exceptional. This striking 17th century former stately
home, set in 400 acres of delightful grounds on the edge of Bassenthwaite
Lake, could not be any more special, whatever the season.
From the delicate scents and scenery of a budding spring to the
glory of a Lakeland summer, the rich auburns and golds of autumn
to the majesty of snow capped winter fells and mountains, surly
nowhere offers such a breath-takingly romantic backdrop.

Should you wish to stage the wedding itself at Armathwaite Hall,
we have four approved venues for Civil Ceremonies, offering flexibility
when it comes to numbers - from smaller, more intimate gatherings
to much larger celebrations.
If required, the charming nearby church of St. Begas provides an
appropriate setting for a religious blessing.
