Beginning with a nature-inspired welcome drink upon arrival, the limited-edition guided trail takes place early in the morning and at dusk, being the best times to spot these elusive and nocturnal animals.
Expertly guided by Lucy Dunn, Education & Animal Conservation Officer at Armathwaite Hall’s adjacent Lake District Wildlife Park, the trails will take guests through some of the area’s most rural countryside spots, including Bassenthwaite Lake and the River Derwent.
With years of experience and a true passion for all things wild, Lucy will take guests on a tour of the spots where otters have been known to congregate, including hidden burrows and hollow trees nestled on the water’s edge.
