An Exclusive First Look at Our Garden Suite Upgrade
To offer our valued guests an enhanced luxury experience, we are investing over £1 million into the expansion of Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa and upgrading eight Garden Spa suites.
Each of our eight stunning new suites will include a luxury bedroom, lobby and four-piece bathroom, and the whole extension will include a brand-new lounge with feature fireplaces, corner sofas and glazed windows.
We have designed these suites to connect the guests with the lush greenery of the landscape that sits right outside the new glazed façade. You will have direct access to your own outdoor space, allowing you to reconnect with nature and explore our glorious natural surroundings.
As well as providing you access to our outdoor spaces, the design of these suites was inspired by the beautiful environment that surrounds them. In them, you will find cosy spaces filled with natural, raw materials including oak and stone.
The Spa Garden suites have been designed as tranquil spaces, exuding serenity and providing the perfect surroundings to boost your wellbeing. You will find stormy grey blues, muted greens and earthy terracotta tones in your room – a cosy escape from the dramatic Lake District weather!
These suites add a modern twist to the beautifully traditional architecture that Armathwaite Hall is known for, with glass balconies available to first-floor guests, a glass-fronted exterior on the ground floor and architectural timber fins. You will still experience that classic Armathwaite Hall touch of luxurious ambiance, with spectacular inset electric fires and natural textures.
Our General Manager, Simon Steele, says of the upgrades: “The decision to expand our bedroom offering is born off the back of an increase in the high-end leisure market and the demand for bigger and better bedrooms for our luxury spa guests.
