We require card details for large table reservations due to the increased number of non-attended bookings in recent years.

Cancellations fees reflect the costs incurred by Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa in terms of staffing, food, and any lost revenue from turning away other potential bookings.

The restaurant’s continued viability relies on reservations being honoured by our customers and adequate notice being given for any changes or cancellations.

Where possible, the Armathwaite Hall team will actively manage restaurant bookings by checking attendance with the main guests/contact in our booking’s diary.

However, for all reservations, we kindly request that diners notify us of any cancellations or amendments.

Cancellation Policy for Table Reservations

For all table reservations of five or more, we require a valid credit card at the time of booking to confirm a booking.

Should your numbers decrease or you need to cancel your reservation, we require 24 hours’ notice.

Cancellations for all table reservations made within 24 hours of the reservation, or in the event of a ‘no show,’ will incur a cancellation fee of £35 per person for lunch or afternoon tea, and £50 per person for dinner. This rate may be higher depending on the time of year.

Any reduction in the number of guests must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a charge as detailed above.

We understand that emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or modify your reservation due to unforeseen circumstances.

All cancellation/no show fees will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking.
