CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Rooms are available from 3:00 pm on arrival day. Please vacate by 11:00 am on departure day.

A valid credit or debit card is required at check-in for pre-authorisation of the full room rate (unless prepaid) plus 15% for incidentals. For prepaid stays, a £100 per night pre-authorisation covers room extras. Charges can be settled with an alternative card at check-out. Note, we are a cashless establishment and only accept card payments throughout Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa.

DINING

At Armathwaite Hall, we provide a range of dining experiences, including our renowned Afternoon Teas. For full details on our restaurants and to make online reservations, please click here or call 017687 76551 and select option 2. Table reservations are recommended. Guests on a dinner-inclusive package enjoy a £40.00 per person food allocation. Children sharing with parents are accommodated on a bed and breakfast basis only.

With two restaurants to choose from, the Lake View Restaurant offers fine dining with a smart dress code; strictly no trainers or T-shirts are permitted. Additionally, The Grill Restaurant specialises in locally sourced steaks and seafood with smart attire requested.

THE SPA

Residential guests have access to the spa facilities from check-in at 3:00pm until check-out at 11:00am. Children under 16 can use limited facilities between 8am to 9:30am. Experience complete relaxation with our exquisite range of treatments, which we advise booking in advance. Our friendly spa team is happy to assist on 017687 76551 and select option 3.

FOR THE CHILDREN

Children under 12 years sharing with adults are accommodated at £25.00 per child including breakfast. Children in deluxe family rooms with adjoining twin-bedded rooms are charged at £60.00 per child per night including bed and breakfast. Children under 16 years occupying adult accommodation will receive a 25% discount off the bed and breakfast tariff. There is no additional charge for infants and a travel cot can be provided upon request with meals charged as taken.

PETS WELCOME

Dogs are part of the family and are welcome at Armathwaite Hall as we are a dog-friendly hotel. Selected bedrooms are available for those bringing their faithful friend. Dogs are accommodated at a cost of £25.00 per dog per night and receive a bed with cushion, dog treats and waste bags. Please note that dogs are welcome in the Hall lounge only from 10:00am until 7:00pm if clean and well-behaved and must be kept on leads in the surrounding gardens.

ACTIVITIES

WILDLIFE PARK

Our estate also features the Lake District Wildlife Park, home to over 100 species of animals, reptiles and birds of prey. Residents enjoy special offers: children receive free entry when accompanied by parents and adults get two-for-one admission!

DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS

• A non-refundable deposit of £100 per person is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 7 days before arrival. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival or no-shows will result in a full charge.
• Flex Rates: Bookings must be secured with a valid card. Free cancellation is available up to 7 days before the scheduled arrival date. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 7 days before arrival. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival or no-shows will incur the full charge.
• Advanced Rates: Full payment is required at the time of booking. This payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Date Changes: A date change may be requested up to 7 days prior to arrival and is subject to availability. Approval of date changes also depends on the availability of offers at the requested time.
• We would advise for peace of mind in the unlikely event of a cancellation that you take out cover with your own insurers.
